*ROCKED AMBALA GIRLS COLLEGE LIVE IN..

*PERFORMED AT ORCHIDS, PHAGWARA, PUNJAB FOR 15 DAYS.

*WON 2^ND PRIZE IN ROCK COMPETITION IN DELHI UNIVERSITY, HELD ON 15^TH OF DECEMBER 2008.

*HAVE GOOD TERMS WITH ‘BANDISH’ – THE BAND, MR. DASMUND HAS BEEN A GREAT SUPPORT.

HISTORY :

ROHIT(DRUMMER)

He has proved to be one of the greatest discoveries we have made ever. He has been playing drums for the past 8 years at professional level. He has already played drums for Sonu Nigams band in dandiya festival (Garden of five senses). Has been associated with Delhi based highly professional band ‘Ruhu’ and ‘DO RE MI’ in the past. He has been also playing drums for various shows organized in YMCA, Delhi.

TENZING(LEAD GUITARIST)

This boy is amazing while playing lead or bass. We bet you wont be able to judge where he’s ready to put his finger on what fret at what time. Tenzing is a son of renowned and very famous guitarist, Mr. Donny.

Tenzing has been playing guitar from 8 years now, and has already played in many of the radio programs in radio city, radio one, big fm etc.. He has also made viewers tap their foots on his lead and rhythm on star news, zee news, NDTV. Has also played in various shows with the bands he was associated in the past.

ASHISH(BASS CUM VOCALIST)

I started off my career as a lead vocalist for a Delhi based Metal band ‘Aggregation’. We used to play only hard rock and metal stuffs. Whef… Those were the toughest days of my life as we all were new. Of course faced lot of problems. But lately, from vocalist, I turned as a pianist cum vocalist for ‘Aggregation’. We really worked hard, but because of some personal reasons, we didn’t work out together. Then after a long gap of 2 years, I came back as a Bassist cum Vocalist for ‘KASH’.

Have already performed with many other bands too. Performed in many college fests and DU campuses. Have recently performed in DU, South Campus. Have been into compositions.

BHUVAN(GUITARIST CUM VOCALIST)

He’s a die hard vocalist. Believes into self compositions.

Has performed in many shows, stage shows, college fests, solos, band performances. And with no doubt, he has been winning first prize from past two years continuously.

Has been associated with Big Guns of Delhi like Dhun Band etc.

Our recent composition, Alfaz, Jhoom Jhoom Re, Parasyte, is a gift to the band.

Where as, Eshant, Ashwini and a 12 year old percussionist are a new addition to the band and they’ve been supportively associated with us since April 2008.

ABOUT THE BAND

Kash-The Band was formed in the autumn of 2005 in the capital of India, New Delhi.

It began as me my drummer and Tenzing, the other guitarist started just jamming random songs together, then we found a new member, Bhuvan took over vocals, and me as a backup vocalist. And ‘Kash’ is his invention…

Over time we slowly conjured our first collection of songs, which grew into some recently made track demo album , which consists of our first and oldest material (too bad it had just two guitars on it). But our sound lacked heart and soul, so we turned to a different style for the newest composition.

This style became drawn out, and watered down by too many clean passages and solos. We are now developing a new style, gathering darkness to create a sound that is not a fusion nor a hard rock, but a mix of the two, accompanied by some doom or slightly progressive parts.

There is currently a new composition in the making, and hopefully it will satisfy us as a new song to an upfront album.
